Assistant Store Manager (full time) Job Opening – Warners’ Stellian

Summary/Job Statement:
Responsible for assisting in managing the overall profitability of a retail location and day to day operations in addition to working in the role of a sales associate

Duties include:

  • Floor Management
    • Floor Plan
    • POP
    • Price Tags
    • Responsible for proper tagging procedure
    • Rebates
    • Promotional Product Placements
    • Cleanliness (including public spaces)
  • Backroom Organization and Cleanliness
  • Manage staff training schedule and work schedules
  • Inventory
  • New Hire Training (including associates from other locations)
    • Computer
    • Sales
    • Processes and Procedures

Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Open and close retail store
  • Assist customers with customer service questions and issues
  • Assist other departments with questions and issues
  • Duties as directed by the Store Manager
  • Inspection of sales orders
  • Review and distribute open sales reports and ETA reports weekly
  • Motivating associates to achieve set sales and warranty goals
  • Accounts receivable
  • Visually see customers entering the store and move quickly to greet them
  • Assist customers to qualify needs to demonstrate merchandise using feature benefit formula
  • Product knowledge and attend training sessions
  • Explain purchase and warranty options
  • Explain finance options
  • Assist customers with questions
  • Calculate the cost and payment due
  • Complete sales order, including entering the order into NetSuite
  • Make accurate change for the sale
  • Resolve customer complaints and follow-up
  • Work hours scheduled being prompt and on time
  • Handle incoming phone calls quickly and courteously
  • Make follow up calls on existing quotes in a timely manner
  • Complete and file paperwork
  • Light lifting and cleaning
  • Proficient in checking customer account balances in GERS
  • Proficient in checking inventory in GERS
  • Must project a positive attitude within the department and the overall company
  • Must acknowledge, understand, and promote Warners’ Stellian corporate vision and mission

  • Appliance Sales Experience
