Customer Service – Parts Representative (full time)
Job Opening – Warners’ Stellian

Parts Department Representatives research, inquire, purchase, receive, inventory, dispatch or return all parts needed by the Field Service Technicians, Shop Service Technicians and parts ordered on behalf of Warners’ Stellian customers. Our parts team plays a critical role to ensure the timely and orderly delivery of service to our customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

The Details of What You’ll Do:

  • Pick parts daily for service technicians and receive and check-in parts returned from the service technicians that were not needed
  • Research and purchase parts through approved vendors, at the best price possible, within allowable timelines
  • Create purchase orders, invoices, and work orders in software system
  • Receive the parts ordered, including inspection of parts, creating tags and physically stocking into right inventory location
  • Maintain an orderly inventory of parts
  • Data entry as necessary to document the parts inventory and movement of parts in our system
  • Assist in prescreen process to determine the parts needed for service calls
  • Contact customers with estimated timeframe on parts
  • Communicate with vendors to keep current information on parts
  • Manage parts to be returned, following vendor and OEM processes to ensure company receives timely credits and that shipping is done as economically as possible

Qualifications You’ll Need:

  • Mechanical aptitude and curiosity to solve problems. Knowledge of the functions of the products we sell and service
  • Good attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in all aspects of work and documentation
  • Desire to provide an exceptional experience to internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Punctual and committed to excellent attendance
  • Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong typing skills, minimum of 40 WPM
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an accounting, purchasing, inventory, or customer service role in an office or light industrial industry or warehouse environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift and move boxes of inventory, occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds.
